chunks of white pressed pill
This sample was found to contain methaqualone cut with microcrystalline cellulose (a common binding agent in pills). We do not have any quantitative methods to determine the concentration of methaqualone, however we estimate this sample to be roughly 20-40% methaqualone by weight. Based on the reported pill mass of ~500mg, the dosage of methaqualone is estimated to be around 100-200mg, however these estimates are not validated so take these ranges with caution. No other cuts or adulterants detected. There was no evidence for methylmethaqualone, nitromethaqualone, SL-164, or any other known quinazolinone analogues on mass spectrometry. As a note for the future, while we had time today to analyze this sample with additional detail, our service capacity is limited and we cannot guarantee a similar level of analysis for future samples. Analysis beyond our targeted method on the mass spectrometer is based on service capacity and the discretion of our technicians.
